Cardiovascular exercise is important for seniors in helping to maintain strength and improve balance. Aerobics, running, walking, swimming and bicycling are all great cardiovascular workouts. Additionally they should be fun, this will make it much easier to maintain a consistent exercise program and not give up on exercise.
