Question: What is dumping syndrome?
Answer: Ten months ago my husband had his gallbladder out, about 1 month later he started suffering cronic pain and diarrhea. The doctor tells us he has dumping syndrome. Can someone explain this please as our doctor has not,is it fixable?

Dumping syndrome is a problem than most often occurs after stomach surgery. Undigested food travels from the stomach into the small intesine too quickly and can cause nausea, bloating and diarrhea.
