Before You Buy Fitness Videos For Seniors

Fitness videos are an excellent way to get moving when weather is bad or when gyms or fitness clubs are not available or convenient. There are hundreds of videos that can help you to get a complete cardiovascular workout or concentrate on a specific exercise need.
As with any exercise program be sure to check with your doctor before you begin. Couch potatoes should use exercise videos recommended for a beginner level. As your condition improves you can move on to more challenging workouts.

Cardiovascular Workouts
These workouts concentrate on overall fitness and endurance. They do not focus on individual muscle groups but instead focus on over all muscle strength, endurance and toning. Example of cardiovascular exercises include walkling, running, bicycling, swimming and earobics. Cardiovascular exercise can be low or high impact and can generally be done by most people including beginners. Walking and running require little in the way of equipement, except for good shoes appropriate for the activity.
