Question - What exercises would be good for a sore shoulder?:

I had a rotator done about 8 years ago and still have pain in the shoulder. I play senior softball and it still pains to throw. Do you know of any exercises I can use?

Guide Responds:

Your best bet would be to check with your doctor who can check for any residual injury that may be causeing pain. Ask for a referral to a physical therapist. The physical therapist can help you develop an exercise routine for strengthening and hopefully helping with some of the pain. Remember that very often joint injuries cause pain many years after the actual injury. The exercises below may be helpful also.

You'll also find it helpful to talk with others who may have similar experiences or problems. The best places to do that are at our Forums.
