Question - Is Diovan the same as Cozaar?:
In a newspaper article I read something about the high blood pressure drug Cozaar. It stated that the side effects of impotence problems so often associated with these type of drugs are not a problem with or at least very minimal. My question for you is would you know if the drug Diovan is the same medication ? I would truly appreciate any information on this.

While both medications are of a similar class, they are different drugs. They have a similar action on blood pressure, and have simlilar side effects of headache and dizziness. I did not find any studies for Diovan on impotance. That is not to say it would not have a similar effect.
