Question: Do I need to replace all my shoes to prevent toenail fungus from returning?
Answer: If your shoes are well fitting, and made of breathable fabric you should feet comfortable in still wearing them.

Podiatrists and foot care experts’ recommend that shoes (and socks) be changed at least daily and be allowed to dry thoroughly between wearing. The shoe should also fit well; trauma from tight or ill fitting shoes can make the toes more susceptible to fungus. the big to and small or 5th toes are most traumatized by shoes and is where the fungus generally starts.

Keep your feet clean and dry to prevent them from being a good host for fungus. Use a talcum foot powder and wear synthetic socks that help to wick moisture away from the foot. Wear shower shoes when using public areas like the shower at your gym.
