Heathy Heart Guidelines

The American Heart Association just released their 2006 Diet and Lifestyle Recommendations and have included exercise along with a healthy diet as the recipe for a healthy life. Included in the guidelines are the recommendation that you get at least 30 min of physical activity every day, and use up as many calories as you eat in your diet. They also recommend a balanced diet high in vegetables and fruit. Also included is the recommendation that you not smoke and that you stay away from cigarette smoke (second hand smoke).
