Senior Pregnancy
Friday May 5, 2006
No we are not adding a new catagory to the health information in Senior Health. A woman in Britain is soon to be the oldest documented woman to give birth to a baby. At 63 her pregnancy accomplished through fertility treatments is very controversial. At her age it can also be very dangerous. Even though her doctor states she is in excellent health with a biological age of about 45 one has to wonder at the wisdom of her decision to have a child and in her doctors decision to help her. Is this fair to the child?
