Save Money With Generic Drugs

Do you ask your doctor to request a generic drug substitution when you get a prescriptions written? If you don't you are probably spending a lot more on your medications than you need to be paying. A report from Express Scripts a large pharmacy management company finds that consumers spent an additional $20 billion on name brand medications when a generic equivalent was available. More savings will be available as many of the most popular drugs lose copyright protection over the next five years.
