How Many Pills Do You Take?

There was an interesting story in the news today about medications. Did you know that Americans buy more medications per person than in any other country in the world? That might be OK if we saw positive results from those medications but we also score lower in longevity than most other industrialized nations ("first world"). Are we over-medicationg ourselves to keep the drug manufacturers profitable?
