For Older Men Who Smoked

The U.S. Preventive Services Task Force have recommended that older men who smoke or who have smoked at some time be screened for abdominal aortic aneurysm by having an abdominal ultrasound. Older men who have history of smoking are considered at high risk for abdominal aortic aneurysms.
Talk with your doctor if you have a history of cigarette smoking. If you smoke, quit!
